Welcome to my world
My name is Mahmoud Al Sayyed, as you've probably gathered by the big header at the top of the site. The aim of this site is to tell you a little bit about myself and to give you a glimpse of what I have accomplished in the past, through both my career and things I've taken up on my own personal time.
I am an MBA Graduate, Certified Management Consultant (CMC), Kaplan - Norton Palladium Balanced Scorecard (BSC) Certified Graduate and Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with 20+ years of intensive experience in executive position and advisory in corporate strategy, business performance, portfolio management, investment and business valuation. I have gained practical field experience in several Middle East countries and in various sectors and industries. I interact directly with top executives, board members and owners. I am also a board member in a large sector-holding company and other professional services companies.
While possessing leadership qualities and decision-making abilities I consider myself a team player and relate well to others. Excellence is my normal working standard and I believe I have the required attitude and competency to drive change and get results. |

In December 2016 I was invited as a guest speaker in the Strategy Execution & Transformation Forum in Riyadh – Saudi Arabia. I shared with the audience our experience in strategy development and execution for Zamil Group. The presentation title was "Aligning a Family Holding Group Around Its Corporate Strategy - Developing An Effective Strategy Management System ". |
